Introduction


Under the ‘Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005’ all places of work, regardless of the number of employees, must provide the correct training for fire awareness. This legislation has been in place in England and Wales since October 1st 2006 and applies to all non-domestic building structures and some residential buildings. The Course


This course will provide candidates with a general understanding of basic fire awareness, including: what should be done in the event of a fire; how to prevent a fire from occurring, and a basic introduction to the protocol for extinguishing a fire.

3. Basic Safety Features in Buildings
